Camryn GrimesThe young actress is a professionally accomplished person, and she hasn't even finished high school. Camryn has been playing the role of "Cidy Newman" on CBS's soap opera "The Young And The Restless" since 1997. Grimes has been nominated three times for a Daytime Emmy as "Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series" in 1998 and 1999, and won the award in 2000. In 1998, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award in the category of "Outstanding Younger Artist in a Daytime Drama." Her television credits include the CBS telefilm Sharing the Secret and the series JAG. She also appeared in the A&E documentary Letters to the President, with Hal Holbrook. Grimes' feature film roles include a leading role in Swordfish, with John Travolta, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry. Grimes currently lives in the San Fernando Valley section of Los Angeles, where she is starting high school. She enjoys drawing, rock climbing, white water rafting, swimming and diving. Grimes' television credits include a role on DAYS OF OUR LIVES when she was a newborn, as well as roles on CBS' WIDE WORLD OF KIDS, SHARING THE SECRET, and JAG. Grimes had a starring role in the movie Swordfish playing Hugh Jackman's daughter. She currently lives in Studio City, California with her parents, her brother Dakota, and her sisters Shelby and Tatum. Grimes is an avid swimmer and high diver.
